So with the pending rebirth of STO on the horizon, anyone interested in getting the base work of a guild established?  Let me know.

There are quite a few guilds out there already for STO - but hey, we always welcome more, so if you have plans to set one up, we will do everything we can to help you

As my Academy Commanding Officer stated earlier, Lotus Fleet still has plenty of Staff Positions available.

So feel free to get your feet wet, get an idea for what Fleet leadership is like, and once LF's Academy doors open feel free to run through that as well as the Fleets Future Command School, which will focus solely on guild development, management, and leadership.

I would also like to reiterate that Lotus Fleet will be offering its Academy to any individuals or Fleets that would like to take advantage of Lotus Fleets established frame work, with out actually needing to join Lotus Fleet.

Lotus Fleet was established basically on January 1, 2008.  While we do have international members, we are a US based Fleet.  Lotus Fleet welcomes cross-cultural diversity among its members as we see this as an opportunity to learn from each other.  Education is important to us.  While Lotus Fleet is a Star Trek Fleet and thus focuses on Star Trek knowledge, the Academy also incorporates as much real-life information as possible into its courses.  Our Science and Medical courses are the most prominent in this regard, and will only get better in the future.

We are currently working very hard on getting the undergrad Academy up and running.  We currently have 76% of our course material written with a completion date set for 1 August.  The Academy itself should open its doors by September of this year.  Fleet Admiral Nova has been working very hard on a revolutionary Cadet User Interface to allow taking courses to be immersive and entertaining.  I should also point out that we do not merely use text for classes, but whenever possible utilize visual aids as well.  The graduate schools of the Academy will open their doors at a future date after the undergrad Academy is completed.

Keep in mind that Lotus Fleet is just getting started; we haven't even scratched the surface of what we plan to do.  I'm sure that no matter what you have a passion for, be it educating others about Trek, leading others in multiplayer gaming, text-based RPing, or just chatting with a bunch of people who like Trek, Lotus Fleet has a place for you.

I do have multiguild experience including running my own clan at one time which I would be more than willing to discuss.  I live in the New York area so location is perfect for me.  Let me know what to do next.
