She's been redesigned so she's gona look a bit different. I'll have at least two new sketches up by the end of the day.

Despite the obvious decrease in warp field efficiency, the designers of the Valiance class chose to continue the Niagra design family. After the devastating losses Starfleet took during the Dominion War, the call went out for a new class of ship that could easily be called upon to be a dedicated warship during wartime, while still carrying out diplomatic and exploratory missions. The Valiance Project was one of the many put forward during the relative peace after the war. However many where opposed to the projects estimated cost, after a lengthy fight to continue the project it was set aside until it would be feasible.
Shortly after the Dominion War the political landscape became drastically unstable. Fearing another war Starfleet design teams plied the countless back burner projects, they decided to reinitialize the Valiance Project in 2377. By mid-2378 they had a prototype, the Valiance, and where beginning field tests of her warp core. After a close call where the warp core began to breach the nacelle placement was reworked. Instead of two nacelles in the dorsal side of the secondary hull they were moved to the bottom and the single nacelle was moved to the dorsal, completely reversing the warp field geometry. During the second stage of warp testing the Project acquired three Sovereign nacelles, and began to test them vigorously. The Sovereign nacelles boosted the length and speed of emergency warp from four hours at 9.62 to six hours at 9.76.
Full production of the class was approved in 2383. The USS Valiance NCC-76342 left Utopia Planitia latter that year for the Romulan Neutral zone. Since then sixty more vessels have been launched. The Valiance is currently in the midst of first batch refits.
Now this is still a rough idea.
