I started contruction of a new "TMP"/Ent-B era Super carrier, in doing so it was deemed nessacary to produce a fighter that it would carry, this is the beginnings of what i deem 1 of three classes of fighters the ship will carry.

this first one, is a rough start of the design, is a single seat fast attack fighter, although there will be a 2 seat version as well. I have not begun work on the heavy assault fighter o the EWACs support shuttle yet, both those would be the other 2 classes besides general shuttle that the carrier will utilize. But I digress, here's the first one:







Phaser placement may change, and there's still some detailing needed as well. thinking of calling it the "Raven" class, but not sure yet.

LOL, well I'm a firm believer that no combat can take place outside of impulse speeds (it's 100% impossibe to fire phasers at a ship while at warp), this fighter is set to fly at warp 0.999, in otherwords, full impulse speeds. Hence the very large impulse engines in the tail. and as this fighter is not intended to work away from either a land or carrier base, i see no need for it to have warp capabilities, although i could devise a small pod deal for possible scout versions.

L: 10.5m (1 seat) 11.7m ( 2seat)
W: 7.5m
D: 1.68m
Turn radius: 2m
acceleration: 0-full inpulse in 6 seconds
flight tie: 1 hour on full impulse speeds
Armaments: 4 Type IV Phasers, 4 Type Va Pulse Phaser Canons
Defenses: Type FC-6 Shields, with secondary hull armour (material classified)
Electronic warefare: standard anti-missle/photon torp charges, 2 seat version, advnced squad control defenses(clasified)

well i siad it could, but if you look at the stats, it's 0-full impulse, which i believe is set at 1/2 or 3/4 Light speed, so basically what that means is the Hull is designed to take tolorances to .999 lights speed, not that it would ever flay that fast ;)
