As far as "bad-guys so powerful it'll take everyone working together to beat 'em" go, the Iconians are a good choice :)

I agree with you, Della, but even working as a team, it will take some doing to whip them.

The only problem I have with the whole Iconian thing is that it was already beaten to death in the whole 'Gateways' novel series. Now I know, they weren't the 'real' Iconians, but Picard did meet one at the end of it all.

I hope it's the Kelvan Empire, from the Andromeda Galaxy (TOS: By Any Other Name). Then that would make yet another cool idea that they stole from me. ;)
