Strategic Tactical Operations Fleet of Star Base 234 have been put on high alert with orders to report for staging at Deep Space Nine. From there, sources say that the fleet will split into it's three component sub-fleets, with STOFleet's flag ship, the USS Final Frontier and all ships under her in Alpha Fleet to travel to the Gamma Quadrant on a secret mission.
Bravo Fleet, under her flag ship, the USS Endeavour, will reportedly head for the Badlands, a volatile area, in order to conduct it's part of this so-called secret mission.
The third fleet of STOFleet, the R&D wing, will remain at or near Deep Space Nine in order to provide support and logistics on the mission.
Un-named sources at Star Base 234 said that STOFleet is involved in a Search & Rescue operation to retrieve several key scientific personnel that had apparently gone missing and are believed to have been kidnapped.
Neither Commodore Maciag of the Final Frontier, nor Commodore Dark-Haven of the Endeavour could be reached for comment.
