Another one from Star Base 118

Hey peeps.
I'm another one joining you from the SB118 gaming community, where Hailing Frequency has acquired a good reputation for itself.

I like Star Trek and prefer a bit of DS9 over the others, especially the Bajoran/Cardassian relationship. I also like a bit of tabletop roleplaying, reading, writing, films and all the usual stuff everyone on here enjoys.

I'm from the UK and have just watched Wales give Scotland a good kicking in the 6 Nations, if anyone cares :)

In SB118 I'm currently playing an Andorian character, the First Officer on the Steamrunner-class USS Tiger

I've been looking into the SB118 e-mail RPG recently, and was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some information on it.  I'm curious about your experiences in it, and what the gameplay itself entails.  Appreciate any time you might have to spare to help cure my ignorance! :)  Thanks!   :startrek065:

I've been a member of SB118 for about 8 months now, and it's been great fun :)

The way it all works is through Yahoo Groups, which is a very simple and effective system if you've never used 'em.  It's e-mail based, but there are also the forums, and the wiki, for OOC silliness as well :)

If there's anything specific you want to know, ask away, we're always happy to talk to people :)

(Apologies if this is a bit incoherent - I've been a little sleep-deprived the last couple of days...)
