I am also part of Lotus Fleet; I'm serving as the Fleet Academy CO and am focusing on building cirriculum for the Academy. The Academy is designed to be able to take someone who knows nothing about Star Trek and build them to the point of being able to RP. Our science classes bridge the gap between actual science and science fiction science which provides some reality to our courses. Each cadet gets to choose if he/she wants to be in the science, engineering, or tactical role, and are trained accordingly.
