Community Event: Christmas Jam (11.12.)
« on: 07 December 2010 11:31 AM »

Next Saturday on December 11th we will start again a worldwide community party at 1 pm PST at Club 47 on Sol Station. Enter your ships and cruise with us around the galaxy or join us at one of the tour stops.

The Transwar Tour is an event where we start at a particular location and particular time - though we won't stay in one place but travel ("tour", take it as literally as you want) to different locations all over the galaxy.
This party shall unite the whole Star Trek Online community so please be polite and respectful towards every participant. The formation of a huge fleet by all participants is planned to create a commemorative screenshot. And don't forget your firework emotes.

All participants are asked to wear clothing in the colors red and white to enhance the corporate feeling. The color scheme is red/white (uniform/offduty) due to the Christmas topic.

The overall communication channel will be "Tour". All announcements e.g. location changes and instance numbers will be made there.

Everyone is welcome to join us and have a good time!

Supported by STO-Radio, the Star Trek Online Radio!

Thank you to everyone who joined our real big party across the galaxy! It has been plain folly to see what we realized together - long chain formations on ground and in space, a living christmas tree and everything else. It was quite impressive what we can do if about 80 people work hand in hand to make such an excellent thing.
We are aware that not everything went off without a hitch. We still try to improve the event and will optimize it during the next events. Your comments about problems during the event will be heard.

Many thanks to the Moonlight Entertainment and Star Trek Online Info teams, especially Aeryn Sun, who helped me very much, Calvert, BorgQueen, RiaStarchild, Dixon Hill, the whole Trekradio.net team with Zach, eBridget, Liberated DJ Bear, DJ Rockwell and all the other people who helped to make this event a very impressive one!

The first screenshots are available and more will follow during the next days.
Package 1
Package 2 (Asora)

Thank you very much and see you next time!
