Cryptic have made their way to Europe this week, with a 3 day, ongoing appearence at GamesCon in Cologne, Germany and they have opened the show in style, with a brand new 5 minute preview trailer of Star Trek Online.
The video was captured by community member WebGuest28 who is on the floor of the convention and was uploaded onto the internet shortly after premiering.
The quality of the video is fairly good, when you consider that it is from a handheld camera which is pointing at a large TV screen. The trailer runs approximatly 5 minutes long with the first two or three minutes of the video, voiced over by Executive Producer Craig Zinkevich. Aspects of both ground combat AND space combat are seen in the video, along with over a dozen different ships classes which have not been seen before.
