Cryptic Studios have released 3 new screenshots for the upcoming "Star Trek Online".

The first of the three shows of some kind of planetary surface scene, while the second and third show us two space scenes, with the latter giving us a look at the fearsome Klingon Vorcha Class Starship, which I have to say is looking pretty spectacular.

Judging from the looks of the first one, it appears there's a hexagonal * thing* in the sky. My guess would be that's the planetary defense grid, which would mean that the location would be under attack...

Maybe they are in some kind of environmental "dome"

or a very bad skybox applied.

I doubt it, as the rest of the sky is normal. The hexagonal shapes stop very suddenly...

Someone on gamesurge noticed two rings on the planet and questioned HOW could that happen?

How does a planet have two or more rings like that?
