no offense, but you're not showing us anything we don't already know. We've been watching the timer closely ever since it started counting down back in early June. it's been confirmed many times by the HF crew that it is for STO.
though from zach's post, it seems that all we are going to get at the end of the timer is a "we've got the rights to the game" which is fine by me.
I hope when the timer reaches zero, the site switches to a trailer for the game, but that's probably wishful thinking.
I'm afraid so - But wait until August and you never know what might happen ^_^

I just came by to say there is 4 days left! Woohoo! Finding something else to do to pass that whole month by was hard! lol
All I can say is Cryptic has their work cut out for them. Sci-fi community is notoriously picky, And then there is the Star Trek crowd that wants all or nothing. If it is anything less it's utter 'censored'. (Have I expressed my point that Trekkies are picky?! hmmm...)
But it's just the nature of the beast called Sci-fi. It's Science, (Sci) so it has to be exact with fact and theories strewn about to make it believable. There there is the "Fi" where the story resides. Where fantasy meets reality. It's just hard to please a Star Trek fan.
I will be interested in seeing how they pull it together. Will we have fully realized ship with strategic combat? Or will it be a button mash fest and the guy with the most HP wins? Can they divide the time spent in space and land evenly? Or can you choose your prefered method of play without being handicapped by your choice?
Got to say, I don't know what to think anymore. This roller coaster of a ride feels all to familiar. I'll just wait to see what happens and just take it for what it is. Personally I would just like to meet some of the nice folks on these forums doing what they do best. Have fun talking and dreaming about Star Trek.
