Following the recent announcement by San Francisco Based P2 Entertainment that production on Star Trek Online was being ceased, and all intellectual property assets were being transferred to another bay area developer, Star Trek Online websites and fan sites all over the internet have been closing.

The latest on the list of casualties is www.MMORPG.com which yesterday closed the doors on its Star Trek Online section, removing it from their game list in all forms.

Their Star Trek Online Discussion boards remained online, however, there is no longer any easy way to get into them, and as such, they have fallen rather silent.
