Following the recent announcement that San Francisco Based P2 Entertainment would be closing down, it now appears that the official Perpetual Website, along with the Star Trek Online Subdomain, and indeed, the main Star Trek Online Website, have now all closed down.

A quick WHOIS search of the startrekonline.com domain shows that it is still pointing to Perpetual Enterainments servers, and has not been redirected or transfered to any new servers.

It it worth reminding people that Star Trek Online is not dead, as P2 Entertainment did state that all development rights had been passed to another, as yet unreveleased, San Francisco based Bay Area Developer.

Hailing Frequency & STO Zone will, as always monitor this situation and attempt to seek out any information on who the new developer may be.
