hm, is it just me or are the planets distorted, i.e. flattened out a little? Is that a common Legacy problem cause i've seen it in various youtube vids lately..?

Youtube recently switched to 16:9 widescreen for standard video rather than 4:3 - hence the "flattening" effect you have been seeing.

hm, it explains why the chris jones gaming circle at the very first seconds of the vid is flattened. If you watch the HD version ( http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jOygJiqekq4&fmt=22 ) or directly here:

then you see at 1:18 the blue planet which is still flattened, though not as badly as before but still very visible. Wonder what's the cause of that since at 2:24 the planet in the background looks normal again.
