Strangest/Most Interesting People in Star Trek

It can be individuals like Charlie X or species like the Horta. I need some ideas for this RPG I am planning. It is about an anti-hero named Jennzven (Species 8472) breaking out of a science research facility.

Some of the species that travelled to DS9 in that series were fairly interesting. One group had weird/fanciful facial/body markings which stood out as memorable...but I do not recall their species. I belive they were in an altercation with Quark over some trade irregularities.

The species in question are the Wadi, from the 1st season DS9 episode "Move Along Home".

They were upset with Quark because he cheated them at the Dabo table.
