Gamemaster's Scripting School for STL

:Constitution: Gamemaster's Scripting School :Constitution:

If you have ever wanted to break into Legacy Scripting using the mission editor and make your own Legacy missions then we have the oppertunity for you. I have decided to open my own Q & A section of the STL Aftermath forums where I will answer questions regarding how to make missions or specific questions on how to get a certain effect to happen.

You must be a registered user in order to ask a question but that is a small price to pay for getting real knowledge on how to script missions.

Gamemaster,

That is a wonderful opportunity for the young and aspiring game developer!

Thank you very much for this opportunity to get inside the head of someone such as you. I look forward to seeing the new Mod for Legacy!

Another available feature that I have begun to offer for those who are wanting to learn some script is real time training if it is requested. I don't mind helping someone script for a while on xfire but you still must be registered and request the contact. We don't like to make anyone uncomfortable if the forum isn't for you all I ask is that you register and request the help. Don't be shy go to outposttraders and begin learning the trade of mission scripting. http://www.outpostraders.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?1351

:photon: Gamemaster News Announcement  :photon:

I haven't had too many takers for the scripting school. Which is sad in a way, but if registration is the problem that people don't like, my xfire address is gamemaster74654. If you contact me though do not be surprised if I ask you to eventually register.

One of the other benefits of being trained to script is that this is a good foot in the door to get onto any of the mod teams we work with. The only mod team we do not have an agreement with is Ultimate Universe Mod. We can help you get into contact with other mods and begin scripting for them or help you put out solid missions for download on legacy files.

The school also doesn't just handle mission scripting, we can help help you with many of the modding disciplines except modeling and texturing.

I have left this thread open for a while, and I still have not had anyone want to learn to script Legacy. Thats alright, I may end up closing the thread soon if there are not takers, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of demand for it. I will still be reachable at the STL Aftermath forums and on Bethsoft Forums, but  I may have no choice but to abandon the idea of continuing a Scripting School.

I regret to inform anyone that cares about the open scripting school. I am going to be starting my own mod for another game and will not have the time to continue teaching scripters. I have not had enough people come through with interest in scripting. Those who currently are getting advice and being taught I will continue to answer questions privately. I will still be working on Aftermath full force. I can just no longer divert my attentions to teaching script.
