@Jatal Khyron: What's ironic about that is Jeri Ryan honestly never held any sex appeal for me, and is therefore not that great an example IMO. Seven was my favorite character on Voyager (in fact, she was maybe the only one I actually liked), but my enjoyment was derived from watching her grow & develop into her humanity....and NOT because she had a good body and wore those form-fitting "uniforms".
Gah. It just bothers me that a game based on a franchise which has long held equality as one of its most important precepts seems to be going this route of shamelessly appealing to the lowest common denominator.
(Also, as others here have pointed out, at the very least the female fans should get some eye candy too. Where are the big, strapping men with tight-fitting uniforms showing off their upper-body musculature and cod-pieces emphasizing the bulges in their pants? If Cryptic is going to do this kind of ironic -- if not outright hypocritical -- base marketing, then at least they should be equal-opportunity about it!)
