Starship Creator
« on: 13 September 2009 02:01 PM »
Anyone remember the old PC/Mac game Star Trek Starship Creator?
Wish there was something like that now.
I think I have that somewhere in my boxes of stuff in the garage.
I was just thinking it would be cool to play with something like that to come up with your own ship that you might be able to recreate in STO.

I think it would be cool if Cryptic could release their "Ship Creator/Custimizer" as well as the Character Creation tools, before the game launches.   That why, folks can setup their character and crew as well as their first ship, before the game is live, so that when it does go live, they can start playing right away!

That would be great.
It would be a great promotional tool I reckon.

It does sound good in theory, but I don't know how much it helped Spore in practice...

It would be nice, but if they have to take more time to separate it from the game and make it able to stand alone then I would rather they focused on getting the game out
