Personaly I'd like to be a civilian possiblly a smuggler, Merc, or Trader mabey even in polotics.

More realistically thuogh I'd like to be a tactical officer though. I won't make up my mind though untill I see the finaly offical list of jobs and skills. I would realy like the ability to be a "jack-of-all-trades".

I'll be an engineer extraordinaire! Either that, or I'll be the best combat tactical officer that the Borg hope they never have to face!

I have to vote Command...although any or all of the others (sans civvie ) will lead to command later on if desired. I am, imho, better suited to tactical, but I would like to rise above that eventually and persue command track also. Thus is the way life is in the 24th (or what-ever) century! :1:

To be honest with you, i would like to go down the command path. The reason for this is not as plain as you might think. Simply, i want to have skills in every department, engineering, helm, tactical, command, medical, sciene, operations, etc - and as a command officer, it is very important that you do have all of these skills.

So yeh, command for me :)

Why did you put Science and Engineering together?

I want to be a Science officer, not sure if I'm gonna be a medic or another type of science officer, though.

i'd think that science and engineering would go hand in hand int the game, engineering would prob be a sub section of science.

thats just my thought though.

Engineering and Science are TOTALLY different. They should not be grouped.

i really dont agree with that, really engineering is applied science. or atleast that the way i look at it.

engineers in star trek need to have an indepth knowledge of physics etc in their jobs.

but i've changed the poll anyway, have i missed out anything important?

oh and go and re-vote, cheers.
