A sad day indeed. May he rest in peace.

I shall mourn for the great Knight.
I have over 50 of his books and novels, and I re-read them frequently.

the whole world is, Like Asimov and Roddenbury, a lot of what this man envision he did so long before it was possible. modern sattalite communications, a wireless world, geosyncronous Orbit, as well as a host of other technical achievements can be traced back to his stories. Then there's his social awakenings, I recall a short story of his i read once (can't recall the name), but it went on how the population of earth was the crew of a damaged space ship and that they had a desease, in he end, he said a simple statement from the rescue ship about curing us of being white. at a young age, that simplestory awakened my civic sense to equality, the man was truely a Grandmaster Story teller.

He was very Opomistic, even up to his final days he was dreaming of a war free world and that we will soon be going to space as easy as going on a plane ride. Yes he will be missed, as the Grandmasters die off, so do a lot of the visionary ideas they still held in their heads.
