Wheres does Your name come from?

There are alot of Difrferent Nicknames around here, so i thought maybe we could explain our names origen :muaha:

il go first: Titan is a name iv had all my life, old granny always calld me the 13th titan and was related to Greek mytholegy, but 3 yares ago old granny died and i started with Warhammer 40K and herd of the Titan legions of the Mechanicum. so i changed the backgrund of my name to match my Personel titan legion witch until 1 yare ago when Nightwish relised Dark Passion play with the Single: Amaranth. finding the name (and song) cuite cool i adopted it and changed from Titan ore The 13th Titan to: Titan-Amaranth. the Titan Legion was named: Legio Amaranthus.

Many moons ago, I was a member of a group of people who had formed a riding club for snowmobiles. At the time, my CB handle was Lucifer's Hammer', and they all started calling me Baelzebub instead. I shortened that when I started posting online at various sites...so BLZBUB came from there!
 And Baelzebub only became a Christian adoption around the time of Christ...so don't read anything into my name!  :wink:

Sarevok is the bad guy from Baldur's Gate, I took the name from there.

mine was drawn from an old C64 computer game called Defender of the Crown. Philipp DeMalvoisin was the bad guy there along with the other Normans ;).

well, i have bajoran for 2 reasons:

- they're my favourite race in Star Trek
- and i can use alliteration with my surname, Berrie

lrdnova is actually the second incarnation of this handle.

Originially way back when I went by the name Nova2012 which was representative of a Star going SuperNova and the year 2012.

then as time went on I dropped the numbers and went with Lrd (Lord for short) Nova.

and there you have it.

I have sense used this name for the better part of 15 years.

I love Star Trek which is why I picked my handle.

I tried several Admiral name combos until Admiral of Starfleet worked on StarTrek.com and have since used it on all other Trek sites I have joined.

I created Kinneas in 1993.

After almost twenty years of role playing in D&D, AD&D, Rifts, Forgotten Realms and Planescape...I was tired of creating new characters every year and wanted ONE final character.  Kinneas.  The cumulative character based on my years of rpg.

I dated a Greek girl in my late teens named Linea Kinnes.  I liked her last name but it did not have that Greek 'roll off the tongue' sound to it. It was abrubt...so initially it was to be  KinnAEAS. 

Anyway: Kinneas.

The Random Redshirt is not a new concept. Most people know what it is about. For a long time on websites, I kept to myself and didn't post much, therefore being the nameless "Random Redshirt" in the forum crowd was fitting. That changed a bit with STOnet however.
