Server Space / Mirrors

Due to increased activity on the forums and ever increasing numbers of listeners downloading the podcasts, Hailing Frequency is seeking to launch a number of mirror servers to reduce strain from the main server.

We are hoping that there are fans out there in the community who would be willing to provide mirrors for free. We are already in the process of launching our first mirror which is being provided by Enterprise Temporal Cold War, and require at least 2 others that are able to provide:

At least 3gb of Disk Space (5gb preffered)
At least 300gb of Bandwidth (1 terabyte preffered)
A control panel with Stats and Bandwidth Monitoring (eg C-Panel or Plesk)

If you can provide the above, please post a response in this thread.

Hailing Frequency Store Launch

SPACESTATION K-7, SECTOR 006, PRESS RELEASE: Hailing Frequency is today happy to announce the launch of an online store where you may view and purchase various items and merchandise relating to the Hailing Frequency Franchise.

Various requests from fans as of late, prompted us to work hard over recent weeks to create and authorize a number of designs based around our shows. This is an exciting step forward for us and represents that we have grown to a level where our shows are found to be entertaining, exciting, and informative.

All items in the store have only been marked up by one dollar - that is to say, we only make one dollar of profit on any items sold, and while we do prefer donations, we felt it was time to offer the community a way to get something in return for helping us.

We hope that you will enjoy the items that have been added so far, which range from baby clothing, general t-shirts, caps and outfits as well as around the house items such as clocks, pillows, throes, posters, postcards  and much more.

As times goes on, we will continue to add more items to the store, but for now, we would encourage you all to check it out.

This episode was...interesting folks! "That cat girl was freaky!" Lawlz. Put that on a t-shirt and sell it!
Too bad Alter Ego was able to do that damage to the DevilFish, but hey! I am aboard, so I guess I'll just have to do some EVA I suppose, eh?
Again, thanks for the mod news and, of course, let us not forget K'Suan'Indras' contribution as well...even if some of it was in baby lingo! heh heh. Can't wait for the next episode Zach; Kinneas. Keep 'em coming!

Overall guys,

I think the show was great as usual! I really enjoyed everything that was offered in it including the continued development of your Alter Ego Character. I can honestly see this becoming a continuing adventure as the Hailing Frequency Team attempts to defeat Alter Ego!

One thing I would do however is have Alter Ego kill off the Commissioner of Communications, that guy was annoying! I mean really did we ever see Kirk or Picard get be little by their bosses like the Commissioner did to the Hailing Frequency Crew!

The other thing that I noticed was Mr. Juliano's perfect STO might open you guys up to a lot of angry flaming with regards to Opinions rather then known facts. I mean right now I understand that there isnt a lot of information about STO but you might consider taking some of the hottest discussions in the boards and offering contrasting ideas about how STO might be developed rather then taking ownership of how STO "should" be developed, with that in mind at least then you maintain the reputation as a Star Trek Gaming News source rather then a opinion based weekly column that we might read in our local news paper.

Well, remember that STOZone is completely produced and written by me, not the entire crew, and those opinions are mine, not theirs. So, any flaming should be sent my way.

But differing opinions are definitely allowed. That is just the way I feel the game should be made, if you feel differently, feel free to post in the thread I created about "My Perfect STO": http://www.hailingfrequency.co.uk/boards/index.php?topic=486.new#new

AE, I trust you are wise enough to know that your atoms can just as easily be vaporized and exploded by the wrath of a Quantum Torpedo, same as anyone else!
