Hey Everybody,

Episode 55 is here, almost 2 weeks on from the last show, and once again this show was recorded live on Saturday October 4th. Its slightly rougher than our past shows have been, but its much cleaner than last weeks show.

K'suan returns this week with the Star Trek Gaming News for the last couple of weeks and we discuss some of the latest things out of Cryptic Studios relating to Star Trek Online.  Following on from that, Max Loef join us to talk about a Star Trek Mod he discovered for the Space Simulator X3: Reunion.

Fleet Radios on this show are all from the Brand New Brad Sucks album and Kinneas provides some excellent news updates from around the UFP and Beyond!

The amount of "exploration" is directly proportional to the amount of space in a "universe" and not the amount of user made "species".

The more stars in STO the better, right?
But... i'm affraid that with the current type of content creation tools that Cryptic use, i expect only around a few thousand star systems.
100 million star systems would keep us occupied for a veeeery long time, but that isn't going to happen. Thats why i have PLAN B if STO fails, Infinity (yes yes infinity again).  :@

EDIT: LOL.
EDIT2: i've played Dominion Wars and i can tell you on the last few mission i can tell you its a blast.
EDIT3: Great, now i have to play DW again.

RedChico - Can you give us some exact information about your system setup? If you have played DW from start to finish with no bugs, then you are very lucky and I would like to know your specs.

I've got a pretty simple machine, a P4 3.2GHz (single core, multithread), Asus mobo, asus N6600(AGP).
I don't remember if i played on XP or 98Me.
But, let me find the disk first, perhaps "we" might get lucky.

I found this podcast on I-tunes when I was looking for Star Trek Podcasts.  I am a long time trek fan and I have listened to 7 episodes of Hailing Frequency so far and I have been very impressed. I cant wait for more.
