zach the all in one 1.0 version is already out its at the ultimate universe web site in the internal downloads section.

we even got the compression right now so it's now about 662ish mb for the file. wich considering it unpacks to a 2.77gb install aint too shabby on the conpression.

nice episode! K'suan was a bit extra-ordinary in this episode, I liked it! though she missed some text lines in the first run obviously ;)

Yeah she was way more 'up-beat'...I could have edited her mistakes...but I was impressed too and thought they were cute...so left em in.  sorry.  eheheh.

I will do my best to play...but I am so swamped right now.

Best wishes as always!

I'd like to thank Croesus for expressing all our dread with respect to the return of Victor1stInHisOwnMind to the podcast universe.  I'd also like to express my dismay at hearing that mod weekly will be trimmed down.  I know that Fleet Radio is your longest running segment, but what point does it really serve?  It's certainly not Trek-related and I just fast-forward through it.  Let's keep the Trek in Hailing Frequency and oust the music.

On Argus Array:

Leave the politics at the door.

:cues Kotter music:  ~Welcome back...welcome back...welcome baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.~

You just can't get some kinds of information 'anyplace' else.  It serves a purpose.
----
Cutting Fleet radio:   I'm sorry the audio clips that express what Fleet Radio's purpose is, and how it relates to gaming are not played anymore. I should dig them up or make a new one if this is being brought up.

Fleet Radio was created to support the idea of a radio (radio stations) and other 'Fleet' media (News, TV, up to date mission reports), in Star Trek Online.

The intention is to develop it and other media as we start getting access to Star Trek Online. We had hoped it would have been a lot sooner...but the longer STO is held off the better.

heheh...  'Hailing Frequency' staff would like a media ship in Star Trek Online ('The Devil Fish'.  As seen on this months graphic. See large version here:  http://www.hailingfrequency.co.uk/currentpodcast.html).

sure, take your time  nk4

personally, I like fleet radio. I mean it's the music part of the show, it just belongs in there. that mod monthly :) is cut saddens me too but as long as he keeps up his usual quality talk then I just even more eagerly wait for the next show to get more of the thing.

agrreed leave politics at the door. Theres no harm in good clean banter and parodies, in a way it promotes both podcats. besides we give as good as we get, all in good fun of course as is evident of the parody advert for ep18 of argus we have up lol

the best part I think is with the "funky" music :D though I must say the original's really a catchy tune.. and to say it out loud here once and for all he is a damn good voice actor!  fed2

I will post the podcast on itunes in a moment

Make sure to post it to Zune too (though that may not be an option until November). I'll share it to some of my friends.

Nemitor - I will have something about alliegance in the next podcast - sorry i missed that - its been two months since the last show so there was alot to thiink about - i forgot :(

Thats fine, no problem. (I thought I posted a response to the above quote a week or so ago - seems like I forgot to press the submit button)

I'm announcing some new things in the next few weeks, so I can 'leak' you some stuff if you'd like, just let me know if its too late for the upcoming podcast or not.

sorry I hadn't cleaned up the corresponding thread I mentioned below Zach, hope you could find the german installer anyway (the one under "Downloads" on the site is the old alpha3, it'll get replaced as soon as the all-in-one-installer was created by sir p.). If you can't select the Ferengi, you got the wrong version ;).

k, here's the post again:

Quote from: me
we kind of have a pre-test english version of bote alpha 4 out now, kin and zach. just go to the sticky "Editing/Modding the game"-Thread under bote screens & plans and be welcome to download the german installer plus the data.zip and minor races graphics zip (there'll be an all-in-one installer next week, but you can have a short look at it over the weekend if you feel like) and run the game. you sure be impressed (aside from the still german small race selection box, that still is up to be made better-lookin ;))!
