Announcing our 2nd Official Bridge Commander Event

Following the relative success of our first event, its time to follow on and have even more fun, so join us for our 2nd Bridge Commander event this Sunday, March 1st 2009 at the following time, provided in the most popular timezones:

Sunday, March 1st 2009 at 2pm EST / 11am PST / 8pm CET / 7pm GMT

Changes from the First Event[/u]

We will be running two servers this time around with a capacity of 24 on the First Server and 14 on the Second Server.

Whether you're a freelancer or a fleet, come and join us at this time for some fun fun fun!  If this event is a success, we will make a bi weekly event out of it and we may even host some sponsored tournaments!

Spread the word Trek Gamers, Tell your fleet, tell your friends, even tell your family - The Second Official Hailing Frequency Bridge Commander Event on Sunday, March 1st 2009.

What do you need?

Lets face it, stock Bridge Commander just doesn't satisfy most of us anymore, so please download and install the following two files so that we can have the funnest possible event!

Kobayashi Maru version 1.0 - If you do not know what this mod is then shame on you.  One of the biggest and best mods for Bridge Commander ever. Download it Here

Server Details

The server will be called simply "Hailing Frequency BC Event".   We will post its IP Address in a day or two.   Look for it around the time of the event and join up.

Let us Know if you are going to attend

Any updates about the patch release ?

**We have experienced many more bugs-besides the Sovereign explosion - of the Lotus Fleet mod.
To name a few:
1-The Prometheus is absurdly overpowered
2-Too much of the good thing (FX exposions,light and dust) causing severe distraction and invisibility especially at close range battle
3-Inability to WARP to other planets in the system-map
4-"Return Shuttle" is not functioning with some ships
In some systems (space maps) the ships looks completely black,like a shadow (e.g in the Borealis system)

Its being worked on still, as well as fixing the explosion problem that plagued us last time, lots of other issues are being fixed such as balancing and other things.  The patch will be done hopefully soon.
