Yesterday I watched the VOY episode Lineage. It is about B'Elanna and Tom finding out they are having a baby. Afterwards I read that you can't be a quarter anything. That there is only a 50% chance of Miral becoming a half-Klingon. But the Doctor explains that Klingon traits are dominant for a few generations. So is it more than 50%?
Since images have been iffy here lately, I will use the font color to demonstate what I am thinking. This is what happens according to canon.
Miral +Torres = B'ElannaTorres + Tom = Miral Paris
Klingon traits are dominant. But what about other hybrids? Vulcan genes appear to be dominant, but we don't have anything concrete. I have roleplayed as a Vulcan woman named T'Pora. Equil has roleplayed as a human named Robert de Winter. If they were to have a kid, I think it would turn out like this:
T'Pora + Robert de Winter= Leon de Winter
That is pretty simple. But what if we add a third species into this? BLZBUB roleplays as a half-Romulan half-Human named David. Sela is the only half-Romulan in canon, and she is a blond. Does that mean that Human genes are dominant? Or is it a random mutation?
Anyways, let's do more theoretical mating. (Is that even a term?) Let's say T'Pora and David have a kid. Would it turn out like this:
T'Pora + David Rogers = Leon Rogers
or like this: T'Pora + David Rogers= Leon Rogers
or like this: T'Pora + David Rogers= Leon Rogers
