What was your initial reaction when you read the script for Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and found that Hikaru Sulu would be opening the movie as Captain of the USS Excelsior?

Have you seen the remastered episodes of The original series? what do you think of them?

Do you watch any of the other Star Trek series? If you had to choose, which of the other series would you have played in?

do you think, as most fans do, that a spinoff show with Sulu as captain of the excelsior was possible at the time. and if so, why do you think it wasn't done?

Q: Do you believe Star Trek has a mission that goes beyond entertainment?

Q: What is the future of Star Trek television? Do you see Star Trek television and Digital online entertainment merging?

Q: Based on technology advancements, personally, how long  do you feel it will be before they start building the Enterprise & Star Trek becomes real ( if ever  ) ?

Q: World renowned experts, like physicists Dr.Michio Kaku, the legendary Steven Hawking & the head of SETI, Seth Shostack  are saying they  'predict' we will encounter alien life within ten to twenty years.  Because of Star Trek, do you believe people will be able to handle the news better now and be more accepting than in the late sixties?

Q: Who are your heroes today?

Q: Do you have any special moments on the Blue Ray release you would want people to look for?

What is the future for the Sulu character? Is there any new books, voice over work, or anything going on?

Well folks, the interview has been done and i have to say what an honour it was to speak with George Takei - that voice......to coin a phrase from Kinneas book...."le swoon"

I have the audio file here on my desktop and will need to make some minor edits to it before i post it, but i am going to get it done tommorrow morning so expect to see it up for download by about 4pm GMT.

Kinneas is making a transcription of it now so that will be online tomorrow too.

It was such an amazing interview, cant wait to post it for you all.
